I received my certificate in the mail yesterday. It was a big envelope. The folder was fancy.

“National Board Certified Teacher”

Last time I received my certificate I was coming home from the hospital after I had given birth to my second child. What a moment to have that sense of accomplishment both professionally and personally at the same time.

“Badass” one of my friends shared. “Superwoman” another commented. “Insane” is what I possibly heard my husband muttering under his breath. (He has been on dish duty ever since I started the journey 8 years ago).
