Nothing says happy Monday
Like your mind not being able to shut off
And you toss and you turn
And you toss and you turn
The clock screams at you 1:00 am
And finally… finally your mind shuts off
And you fall asleep
Nothing says happy Monday
Like your child calling out your name
And projectile vomiting all over her carpet at 2:00 am
And your dogs wake up
And you find yourself and your husband cleaning up a mess
And calming down a very confused and sick child
Nothing says happy Monday
Like being outside at 2:45 am
Walking two very awake dogs
Who you hope and pray will snuggle back into bed
When you return inside
Nothing says happy Monday
Like less than four hours of sleep
And a full day of teaching ahead
But you’re thankful for grandparents
And you hope for the best.
Is it a happy Monday?

That’s a VERY eventful Monday! I hope you survived and that your little one feels better. Gotta love those grandparents, I tell ya from experience 😉

We are so lucky to have retired grandparents who are always willing to help! I’m not sure how we would do it without their support. ❤
