Unfortunately, I walked out of my house to the sight of bird poop all over my car after it sat in the driveway all last week.
Fortunately, I got my car washed on Saturday, leaving it squeaky clean!
Unfortunately, the birds apparently had other ideas after seeing the state of my car this morning.
Fortunately, I got some comic relief through our morning meeting prompt today: Would you rather read people’s minds or speak to animals? To which I said, “talk to animals so that I could ask the birds to kindly poop elsewhere.”
Unfortunately, this made my class laugh so much that it got them all wired and silly!
Fortunately, I like to be silly too. So we laughed together, got our sillies out, and took a deep breath to refocus.
Unfortunately, much to my chagrin, there was still bird poop on my car when I left school this afternoon.
Fortunately, the rain is slowly washing it away… I hope.

Love unfortunately fortunately slices! And this one is awesome. Love how the kids and you can be silly and then refocus. ❤️

I love this line: “Fortunately, I like to be silly too. So we laughed together, got our sillies out, and took a deep breath to refocus. ” It sounds like such a great classroom moment! Hope the poop is gone and the birds have moved on by now!
