There is a certain point
We arrive there and then wonder
Is this it?
Is this when it’s enough or too much?
Is this the point that makes the difference?
We never truly know the answer
The point is ever changing
Further away, or even in the past
Looking ahead or back
The answer is never clear
Keep going, keep moving
Don’t look back
Don’t look too far ahead
Are we there yet?
Will I make it?
I want to
I have to
The nebulous nature of contentment and the resolute need to succeed all wonderfully written here. Quite the ride. Thanks for sharing!

The end is a moving target. I think the key is contentment in the journey, peace in the process. Thanks for sharing this piece.

I love how I was imagining one sort of slice based on “are we there yet?” and it turned out to be something absolutely different, and something that has gotten me thinking about the concept of “arriving”. What important questions you raise!

MAN I feel these ideas deeply. This idea of lives, processes, learning etc. as journeys is NOT SIMPLE or easy.❤️
