Writer’s block

Writer’s block,

The plague of all writers.

It eats at you.

Laughs at your face.

Just when you think you have a start, it steals it away.

A phrase, an idea, a memory…stolen.

A half-written draft, a story stopped mid-way, a post entirely deleted.

Imperfection. Not good enough, not even close.

Not quite a slice, but a crumb or a sliver.

Until next time, because there will be a next time.

The plague of writers,

Writer’s block.

  1. We’ve all been there! But you wrote through it. That’s what real writers do. They don’t give up. I always end up with a writer’s block post once during the challenge. Hope your writing ideas flow tomorrow!
