Words have power.

Words have power
Words of wisdom shared from our guest slicer this week
They can leave a lasting impact
Writing has played a huge role in my own life

Writing isn’t just a subject in school, it’s something that you will use in life

I love slicing with my students
Slicing is personal
It’s not for a grade
There are no rights or wrongs
You can be inspired by the newly introduced format
Or not
And it gives families the opportunity to join our classroom

Words have power
Her words made me reflect
Her words also made me tuck away ideas for future slices
Words can have a lasting impact

These past couple weeks have been tough
I’m exhausted
And grumpy
And I feel like I’ve been in a funk
Often when I feel this way, I try to find the good
Which leads me to sending a handful of “shout out” emails
to students and their families

Words have power
Mrs. K thank you for sending that email
It really meant a lot to me
My parents were so proud

Can I print a copy of my writing and take it home to share with them?
