loving my daughter, who stalled bedtime to wait up for me to get home so she could “make sure I was safe.” ❤
hearing nothing. Literally the only noise is my fingers tapping the keys. And. It. Is. Lovely.
seeing the glass as half full….in spite of everything going on around me.
Perspective is everything. It clouds our immediate world, one that you choose to see with joy.

Your ending is powerful. It hints at so much. And the rest of your list really brings out so many positive things. What a sweet daughter, and a special moment to have it be so quiet. And now I have another book to add to my “to be read” list.
