Pros | Cons |
We are going somewhere “Yay!” | I will forget something- without fail. |
By packing I can really evaluate what I own and how much I own and see if I have any gaps in my wardrobe. I can also make a plan to fill gaps/replace well loved things that are on their way to their grave. Also this gives me ideas when someone asks me what I would like for my birthday. | Having to a mountain of laundry before you can even begin to pack (Side note- there are 3 people in my family and I have no idea how we came to own this many clothes.) |
We made it to Spring Break (2 of the 3 people in this family are involved in the school system so this pro applies to the majority of us) | “My name is Addie and I am a perpetual over packer. I should really work on that… wait…honey why are you removing the snow gear from the luggage for our beach vacation- you never know!” |
I enjoyed reading your post. The structure really works, Thanks for this line which made me smile: “I should really work on that… wait…honey why are you removing the snow gear from the luggage for our beach vacation- you never know!”

I liked how you made a list about packing instead of a packing list. A lot of thought and prep goes into packing, you highlighted the pros and cons of that process well. Many of them I had never thought of — like ideas for future presents 🙂

My husband is the overpacker. I’m the “meh, I’ll figure it out or find a walmart” 🤣
I like that this list shows your thoughts instead of your To Dos
