Part of Slice of Life by Two Writing Teachers March Slice a Day Challenge! I’m slicing every day this month. Thanks for stopping by.
“Mom! Emmalee thinks you spell tv with an e!”
“It’s okay, Amelia. Listen to the sounds you hear when you say tv. She is hearing the “eee” at the end. That’s good. She is learning to listen for the sounds letters are making.”
“OHHH!” She laughs hysterically.
Then she gets serious, “But if she spells it with an e at the end, she will learn the wrong spelling!”
So cute. I love the worry around learning how to spell TV wrong!!

Adorable. This was a cute pick-me-up after a long day. Between the effort of the speller and of the sweetheart trying to help – really love this little slice of everyday noticed.
