Yep, I’m already hitting a wall for ideas of what to write. Sunday is our day for bringing order back to this home. Hubby and I have each worked out, I’m almost finished with the 6th load of laundry, the kids all did their chores, my husband is at the grocery store, and we’ve been outside on a hike. Now, the girls are in the basement watching ‘Miraculous’, which I hope is appropriate for all of them, and I’m listening to one of my favorite guilty pleasure podcasts: Fake Doctors, Real Friends. I’m a huge Scrubs fan. This is literally our routine
Vegging out on the couch won’t last long, but it’s the best part of every Sunday. Soon, I’ll have to put away the laundry (worst job ever), bathe the twins, and prep for tomorrow. Cheers to a short week! Our mini spring break is Thursday and Friday.
Part of Slice of Life by Two Writing Teachers March Slice a Day Challenge! I’m slicing every day this month. Thanks for stopping by.
Kelly, it seems like a routine filled with busy chores, but also love and family. Focus on that side of things and the work will get done. Plus – thanks for the podcast idea (also a Scrubs fan and just started rewatching from the beginning!)! Enjoy the upcoming break!!

It’s hard for me to write on the weekend too! So much of my life is school and on the weekend I challenge myself not to write about school. 🙂

I’m enjoying the slices you are sharing. I can relate to this one, too, although my kids are all adults. My Sundays look different. Not better or worse, but different. : )
