Last evening, I went for a walk with daughter #2 (age 8) and she just talked my ear off about a guest speaker she’ll have next week: a scientist who specializes in “milking” snakes for their venom. She dominated the conversation with her excitement and curiosity about the event. I have always admired her thirst to learn about everything. I love that her love for learning and curiosity has not skipped a beat, and in fact has flourished among all of the challenges this year. It speaks volumes about the educators who teach her everyday. While I can’t say I share her affinity for the snake topic, I’m loving the human she is growing to be. AJM is going to change the world.
