A slice of madness

A new month to embrace a new challenge- find time to slice everyday. March also kicks off our March Book Madness event at school. Last year, we didn’t get to complete this annual tradition in person. In only my 2nd as building principal, I am hopeful this year will be different. What you don’t see in this picture is the time, care, and dedication teacher leaders put into this annual event in order to make it happen for our school community. We are #CorlStreetStrong and I am so grateful to lead a building where this kind of passion exists.

Slice of LIfe

Part of Slice of Life by Two Writing Teachers March Slice a Day Challenge! I’m slicing every day this month. Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Welcome to the SOL Story Challenge. As a teacher for 38 years I can tell you having a principal who reads is a huge deal to ELA teachers. Bravo to you and your teachers. March Book Madness is just what kids need after a test of pandemicing.

  3. Welcome to the SOL challenge! I’m so excited for our community of slicers. The March Madness bracket from last year was such a reminder of all that was lost. Looking forward to seeing it all filled in this year!

  4. Welcome to the challenge! It’s an incredible experience! So glad your community will (hopefully) get to finish your bracket this year! The small griefs of so many joys left unfinished last year are hard to bear.
