Hard questions

I asked a lot of questions today.

Hard ones.

Ones without an answer (for now).

Some that might remain unanswered.

But they needed to be asked.

Not because I like being a squeaky wheel,

But because it’s the right thing to do.

I will forever vow to ask the right questions in order to advocate for what is best for our students.

I’ll even advocate for the teachers.

But the students are the heart of it all.

In some ways we have lost sight of that.

I hope we find it again and soon- for the sake of the kids.

  1. If the only questions we ask are ones with answers, and easy ones at that, well, what’s the point? I hope these latest questions eventually lead you, your colleagues, and your students somewhere good.
