Day 5 of the March Slice of Life Challenge hosted by the Two Writing Teachers! #SOL25
The torrential downpour outside triggered a memory of my daughter at age two–which then sent me down a rabbit hole to find the picture I could so vividly see in my mind. I can hear her tiny sweet two-year-old voice proudly declaring, “It raining! It pouring! It ‘noring!”
Here is E standing with her hands on her hips, cheesing in her whale patterned raincoat, all while rocking her bright yellow bee boots.
Man, she loved those boots and splashing in puddles.
Can someone invent a time machine?
