Memory Hoarder

I stumbled across a commercial today for the iPhone 15. It was advertising its storage space by having the soon-to-be-deleted photos sing, “Don’t let me go!”

It made me chuckle. I’m the kind of person who doesn’t delete a single picture. This wasn’t an issue before kids. But, with my own children, you know there are 30 pictures (give or take) for every one I post online. I specifically bought the larger storage on my phone for this reason and we pay for extra Google storage space for when I do need to delete a photo off my phone, but don’t want it gone forever.

Now before you come at me- it’s not different than having several photo albums in your house of all of those pictures mixed in with the ones marred by a fingerprint. I’m simply saving physical space by keeping them in my virtual storage space.

21,765 that’s how many photos I have on my phone. We got past the point where deleting some would even make a difference and yes, I do peruse them on occasion. But, you know I’ll have the photo to reference when I need it!

  1. I’m also a memory hoarder! And I also pay the extra money each month for google storage space to back up my photos! I LOVE the memories that my phone shares with me (thank you google!). 🙂
