It’s not a Tuesday… and I’m slicing and thinking of you.

I wonder if the little Italian Restaurant that we used to visit still exists?
It was one of our first stops of New York City
It become a tradition
We’d park our van in the garage for the weekend,
Drop our bags off at the hotel
And depending on the time, share a glass of wine
Then we’d hit the cool, brightly lit city streets
We’d walk and laugh and breathe

I wonder if the little Italian Restaurant that we used to visit still exists?
The one with the little wooden tables
And tea lights
And delicious spinach raviolis
You would be impressed with my more mature wine selection

So much has changed since the last time we visited
Do they still bring little homemade meringue sweets to the table after you paid the bill?
I wonder…
