15 and I were rebels today, while out shopping. We’ve been conditioned to go with the flow. To buy what we’ve always bought (or had bought for us). And never question it. Well tonight, we questioned it.
We bought men’s deodorant.
Have you ever wondered what Alpine Splash smells like? Or Wanderlust? Or Arctic Rush?
Women’s deodorant gets scents like Shower Clean or Powder Fresh or Lavender.
Men’s deodorant not only has cooler sounding fragrance names, they come in bigger tubes (containers? cylinders? What do you call it?)
So we bought Men’s Deodorant. If you smell Volcano or Mt Fiji in the halls tomorrow, it may be me (smirk).

LOVE it! and they were probably cheaper!!! (and work better). Sheesh!!!

Hahaha I have noticed it! I recently messaged my husband and son when I was at Walgreens, “what Old Spice adventure smell you want?”

I do love Target…but I don’t love how truly separate their “mens” and “womens” products are. Enjoy your scent!!!

I love you and this slice! You rock that new deodorant! Tom and I were just talking about the names of men’s deodorants. We had a whole conversation about the smells and the names! LOL!

Sounds like a fun shopping trip–to rebel together! Your observation that we most often shop on autopilot without questioning why we’re making the choices we are is eye opening and important. I love that smirk at the ending, too–letting readers in on the secret joke with you.
