Day 26 The wind is vicious today.
It blew a door right out of a student’s hands and into my shoulder. It knocked branches out of trees and swirled dried leaves in our faces. I kept pulling my hair out of my mouth when we walked the bus loop.
I want the wind to knock delight for my job back into me. I want it to blow this tiredness out of me and to swirl enthusiasm in my face. I want it to pull unhappy words out of my mouth…. and blow them away.
Think it will work?

This left me with the feeling of needing a little witchcraft to really control the wind . . .

I hope it will work! It knocked down so many trees that I had to detour in both directions today, coming and going!

Your crafted two interesting paragraphs. The first full of action. The second full of inner thinking. Favorite phrase: knock delight for my job back into me
