A 1st Grade Take on Vaccines

“Miss S. You have your vaccine. You can take your mask off now and we can see you smile!”

“The first thing I’m gonna do when everyone is vaccinated and Corona is over is hug my grandparents and you.”

“Imagine if like… everyone in the world was vaccinated. That would be amazing. We could go to each other’s houses and hug.”

“I love shots.”

“Shots are scary.”

“I haven’t seen my dad because of Corona and now I get to see him again.”

“I just wish I could hug you.”

“Imagine one day when we don’t have to wear masks and we can see each other smile.”
