Like Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day is one of the best days to be in an elementary school. So much green, “top of the morning”, leprechauns, and excitement. Our Kinders had their annual parade outside for the whole school. As one little guy walked beside me with his larger than life Ireland flag he made, he shared, “Dr. Mark, I already told Mrs. S. this, but this is the best day ever”. So much hope in that parade and in his words.
I agree, Felix. Best. Day. Ever. I can’t wait for the next one.

This sounds so fun! I am typically on Spring Break for St. Patrick’s Day so we don’t get to celebrate at school.

I love the innocence of kindergarten students and how excited they become at things so simple.
