I’m Thankful For…

…spring break. The ER was not busy.

…COVID numbers being low, which lessened anxiety about heading to the ER

…portable x-ray machines for faster results.

…No broken bones, only pain and swelling.

…ice packs and ibuprofen.

…walkers and wheelchairs.

…being at the right place at the right time.

…praying family and friends.

…my Mama.

(She fell today, landing on her knee. Couldn’t put weight on it. Since we were together for lunch, I was with her. Got her into the car, took a wrong turn which lead to the Med Center parking lot. She’s fine, iced and elevated. And she too, is thankful <3)

  1. You brought back a memory for me! I once had 2 heavy, handle bags in each hand and was walking from the grocery store to the parking lot. I slipped on black ice and went straight down on one knee cap! I saw stars! I was okay in the end. Your poor mama. I hope she is okay.
