I’m not stressed, you’re stressed.

This week has been crazy! My plate feels extra full and I’m trying to manage everything for everyone in my life. I’m realizing I like to not say “no” to anyone and take on work to make their lives better. But I don’t think about myself when doing this, my goal for the rest of the week is to do something for me every day that makes me happy or feel less stressed. I will continue to push on and keep trying my best!

Everything happens for a reason! 🙂

  1. Same boat over here, but I am working on it! I call it “self-preservation” and it makes me feel less guilty than “self-care,” not that I have anything to feel badly about– take care of you!

  2. Welcome, Casey! It’s fabulous to carve out space for YOU! First thing in the morning works for me! Finding the best time for that space is half the battle, then committing to it!

  3. Yes! It’s so hard to find time for ourselves – I think making a goal for some daily self-care is so important though. And I think of my writing time as that! So glad you are writing with us. 🙂

  4. I agree with this – wait, I mean it resonates with me. Self-care is SO hard to squeeze in, and yet it is vital to us staying human. It’s okay to say no!

  5. Yes, Casey, you absolutely need to learn to say “no”. I wish I had developed that skill earlier in my career. I’m proud of you for taking time to do something for you! See if you can extend it beyond this week.
